Parkhurst: That’s a dynamite idea for catching some fish

A man’s tackle box is much like his billfold; it is very private and not to be looked into by another person, except by personal invitation.

When my Grandpa RC retired, I was helping him and my grandmother move their things from the house on North Engineer. Grandpa was caretaker of Crown Hill Cemetery for years and years so there was lots of stuff, personal as well as city records that had to be sorted out. On this day we were moving all the canned goods and flower bulbs out of the basement. Reaching up on top of a rock wall behind the stairs, I picked up a box and sat it down on the floor. It was rather heavy and had a rusty bolt through the hasp on the front. I called over to grandpa and asked what was in the box. He gave me instructions to take it up by itself and put it in the back yard next to the clothesline pole and he would be up in a minute.
