Stockstill: Travel should be for curiosity, not searching

Posted: Friday, December 28, 2012 11:30 pm

It has been well over a week now since my return to the motherland and although I was lost in paradise for three months, being back in the presence of my beloved family, friends, and English is quite nice.

In this closing article I must give much thanks and recognition. Firstly, my family, who gave me the moral and financial support to embark on my journey. Secondly, Drury University, especially the Center in Greece, who provided me with the organization and environment to gain the most out of my study abroad experience. Thirdly, the Sedalia Democrat, who allowed me to share my experiences and thoughts with you readers throughout the past three months. I must also thank you, the readers, for your encouragement and interest, which motivated me to keep on exploring and getting the most out of my trip. Lastly, I must thank Greece who was very accepting to my American heritage and patient while I was trying to adjust to their culture.
