Parkhurst: Camo won’t hide what you have, haven’t done

Halloween is over — or is it? As I look around I see people running around in clothing imprinted with leaves, sticks and various blobs of dark greens. Some even paint their faces. This disguise is dubbed “camo.”

Surely they are not trying to hide from the wild animals, for after becoming invisible these people don a bright orange vest and hat so fellow hunters won’t think they are a bush or a tree and shoot them — really. This behavior is not limited to hunters.
