I would like to say thank you to the city of Sedalia for being pro-active during this latest storm. Not only did they keep our main streets cleaned of the snow, but are also taking extra steps in helping Sedalians to remove the limbs that came down during the last snow storm.

It is truly a blessing to live in a town that sees a need and moves forward to ease that need. I am sure I am not the only senior who wondered how I was going to manage to clean up debris from this latest storm.

What a blessing it was to me when I heard a chainsaw, looked out my window and saw city workers outside preparing to remove the limbs that had been piled along the curb.

I fully admit to having tears in my eyes when I went out to thank them. One less clean-up chore for me to worry about.

Thank you to all city employees and to the city of Sedalia for being pro-active.
