Miller’s one to watch

I read with interest your front page story of Feb. 8th about the sale of the McLaughlin Building to Carolyn Miller ((bad picture of Carolyn).

I know Carolyn from the vintage clothing presentations she gave at the Benton County Historical Society annual fundraising banquets in 2014 and again in 2015. Each presentation was customized to our banquet theme and were very informative, interesting and fun, even to the guys.

If anyone has the chance to catch one of her presentations, I’d highly recommend they do so. When she gets her store open, visitors should ask her about the early days of her collection and the trials that her husband and children had to endure as she wore her vintage clothing as everyday wear. She’s a great speaker and her story is very entertaining.
