This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. The information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
4:49 p.m.: Thomas L. Wedge, 24, of the 20000 block of Ball Road, in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. on a charge of stealing.
4:49 p.m.: Carl R. Driskill Jr., 24, of Excelsior Springs, in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard, on a charge of stealing.
5:02 p.m.: Martin S. Browning, 27, of Warsaw, at East Fourth Street and South Summit Avenue, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to obey traffic lanes.
2:03 a.m.: Jessie Jean Cornwell, 22, of the 500 block of West Seventh Street, in the 1600 block of Montgomery on charges of resisting arrest and assault.
7 a.m.: The front door was broken at a residence in the 300 block of West Sixth Street and will cost an estimated $157 to repair.
4 p.m.: A blue GT brand bicycle was taken from a residence in the 900 block of South Ohio Avenue.
6:15 p.m.: An officer recovered two Oreo cream-filled brownies, valued at $1.29 each, that had been stolen from a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard.
9 a.m.: A derogatory message was spray painted outside of a business in the 200 block of South Ohio Street.
1 p.m.: A victim in the 2900 block of East 16th Street reported fradulent transactions on their bank account.
3:50 p.m.: A red bicycle, valued at $100, was stolen in the 2200 block of South Limit.
9:38 p.m.: A Pacific brand blue and green bicycle was found at a residence in the 1700 block of East Sixth Street.
12:30 a.m.: The fabric of a trampoline at a residence in the 600 block of East Second Street was cut and will cost an estimated $400 to be replaced.
12:14 a.m.: Ryan K. Roberts, 28, of Warrensburg, in Johnson County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
9:29 p.m.: Johnathan A. Ransdell, 26, of Knob Noster, in Johnson County, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
2:12 a.m.: Kenneth C. Holley, 23, of Odessa, in Johnson County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no insurance.
1:07 p.m.: Randel A. Briggs, 50, of Kansas City, in Johnson County, on a charge of driving with a revoked license.
2:20 p.m.: Christopher M. Sheets, 18, of Lone Jack, in Johnson County, on a charge of possession of synthetic cannabinoid.
