This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. The information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
10:18 p.m.: Jerry E. Stoner Jr., 40, of Cole Camp, at East 10th Street and South Massachusetts Avenue, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
3 p.m.: Several unspecified items were stolen from a residence in the 200 block of West Sixth Street.
3:30 a.m.: Two vehicle tires were punctured in the 900 block of East Ninth Street.
9 a.m.: Unspecified prescription medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of South Grand Avenue.
9:30 a.m.: A Harley-Davidson cigarette case and 57 tabs of Klonopin were stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of West Main Street.
4:16 a.m.: $5 in loose change was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Prospect Avenue.
7:28 a.m.: A Craftsman cordless drill, a set of Harley-Davidson knives, sunglasses, a cookie jar, 12 Quasar eggs and more than 100 assorted rings were stolen from a business in the 300 block of South Hancock Avenue.
9:29 a.m.: A 2003 Dodge Caravan was hit in the 700 block of East 24th Street.
2:16 p.m.: The windshield of an OATS bus was damaged with a rock in the 100 block of Pacific Avenue.
2:29 p.m.: A vehicle’s stereo was stolen in the 900 block of Westwood Avenue.
4 p.m.: A wallet containing a driver’s license, insurance cards, debit card, checkbook, $15 in cash and social security cards was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue.
7:30 p.m.: A storage unit was broken into in the 1400 block of West Main Street.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
8:04 a.m.: $5 in cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Cedar Lane.
8:36 a.m.: A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road.
11:32 a.m.: An unspecified vehicle was reported stolen from a property in the 3400 block of Callaway Drive.
1:30 p.m.: A laptop, iPod and knives were stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Minnehaha Street.
4:54 p.m.: An unspecified theft occurred in the 1700 block of Sycamore Drive.
9:01 a.m.: An unspecified theft occurred at a residence in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 65.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
7:41 p.m.: Daniel E. Gibson, 47, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of resisting arrest.
1:05 a.m.: Christopher G. Pottorff, 20, of Sedalia, in Pettis County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, lane violation and no seat belt.
9:12 a.m.: Jesus Guzman-Nunez, 22, of Sedalia, in Pettis County, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
7:47 p.m.: Mark F. Bauermeister, 56, of Kansas City, in Henry County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license, failure to display valid license plates and no seat belt.
1:35 a.m.: Jonathan W. Fletcher, 30, of Marshall, in Saline County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and no seat belt.
1:41 a.m.: Toby R. Hoffman, 40, of Rocky Mount, in Morgan County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license and failure to drive on the right side of the road.
2:14 a.m.: Jenna M. Stones, 21, of Olathe, Kan., in Johnson County, on charges of driving while intoxicated and a lane violation.
11:08 a.m.: Kelli M. Codianne, 35, of Boonville, in Cooper County, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
