This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. The information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
12:18 p.m.: Helen J. Brockman, 55, address unknown, in the 400 block of East Fifth Street, on a charge of trespassing.
2:44 p.m.: Xavier J. Zuniga, 19, of the 200 block of East 24th Street, at West 16th Street and South Sneed Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.
7:20 p.m.: A syringe and cellphone were found in the 1600 block of East Fourth Street.
8 a.m.: A red 20-inch Cobra Next bike was found in the 800 block of East 16th Street.
10 a.m.: Two Crown Royal bags filled with change were stolen from a vehicle in the 2100 block of West Broadway Boulevard.
12:08 p.m.: A 5-gallon gas can was stolen from the front porch at a residence in the 400 block of East Seventh Street.
2:14 p.m.: $5 in cash was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Liberty Park Boulevard.
2:39 p.m.: A window was broken at a residence in the 2400 block of West MainStreet.
3:58 p.m.: A half-inch drive impact driver, valued at $160, was stolen from a business in the 2900 block of West Broadway
Missouri State Highway Patrol
12:45 p.m.: Thomas E. Layton, 27, of Ft. Pierce, Fla., in Saline County, on a charge of possession of marijuana.
6:59 p.m.: Luke A. Daniels, 30, of Waynesville, in Morgan County, on charges of speeding and no seat belt.
10:52 p.m.: Holly A. Boyer, 30, of Sedalia, in Johnson County, on charges of possession of a synthetic cannabinoid, speeding and no seat belt.
1:42 a.m.: Whitney D. Martens, 22, of Warresnburg, in Johnson County, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
