•Douglas L. Blumhorst, 46, of Marshall, was arrested Tuesday on charges of probation violation, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department records. He remained at Pettis County Jail in lieu of a $2,500 bond.



•Jamauhle D. Brown, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested Wednesday on charges of driving with a revoked license, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department records. He was released from Pettis County Jail on $1,000 bond.



•Aureta D. Craighead, 48, of the 900 block of West Third Street, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. She was under a 24-hour hold at Pettis County Jail Thursday, according to jail records.



•Carl D. Cross, 27, of Otterville, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. He was under a 24-hold at Pettis County jail Thursday, pending filing of state charges, according to Pettis County Jail records.



•Brittany L. Deroush, of Sedalia, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of passing bad checks and stealing, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department records. She was released from Pettis County Jail on $6,280 bond.



•Robert K. Swan, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of passing a bad check, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reports. He was released from Pettis County Jail on $3,000 bond.



•Eric L. Swigert, 19, of Sedalia, was arrested Wednesday on a Cooper County warrant charging him with possession of marijuana and a Saline County warrant charging him with burglary, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reports. He remained at Pettis County jail in lieu of $15,734 bond.



Thefts



•An employee of Aaron’s Sales and Leasing, 3107 W. Broadway Blvd., reported Wednesday three men stole a Compaq laptop, worth $1,170, at about 4:20 p.m., according to Sedalia Police Department reports.



•Clarine Ekhoff, of 800 N. Grand Ave., reported Wednesday that a concrete statue of a deer was stolen from her front yard between 9 a.m. and 2:44 p.m., according to Sedalia Police Department reports.



•Donald E. Rhodes, of 1302 E. Boonville St., reported Thursday a TV set was stolen from his home between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reports.



Hit and Run



Nicholas O’Neill, of 1698 S. Monroe St., reported Wednesday that the vehicle he was driving was hit while stopped at a red light on Thompson Boulevard by a black Chevrolet Blazer, and the other driver left. O’Neill was test driving a car from Town and Country Motors, 3110 W. Broadway Blvd., according to Sedalia Police Department reports.



Interference with arrest



Justin D. Warren, 18, at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday ran from police, who were attempting to serve a warrant on failure to appear/possession of controlled substance charges at 2218 E. Broadway Blvd., according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reports.



Sexual assault



A 28-year-old woman reported about 5:30 a.m. Thursday she was sexually assaulted by an unknown assailant at her home in Georgetown, according to a Pettis County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.



Identity theft



An unidentified man reported Thursday an individual used his personal information to open an account with Dell Financial Services on Dec. 27, 2007, to purchase two computers, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Office reports.
