Ron Grundon takes trip of a lifetime

Editor’s note: Retired Air Force Master Sgt. Ron Grundon, of Sedalia, was a radio operator with the 35th Engineer Battalion in Germany from 1954 to 1957.

After he was released from the Army in 1957, he enlisted in the Air Force. He became an electronics technician on RB-47H recon aircraft, then retrained as a calibration technician in 1966. He was sent to Whiteman Air Force Base and retired as an avionics supervisor in 1979.
