Former B-2 pilot named as UCM’s dean of aviation

The last time Tony Monetti had a vision to improve the way things are done, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization put him in charge of assigning targets in the Bosnian air campaign.

Monetti, of Warrensburg, is looking to bring his newest vision to life beginning Aug. 1 when he takes over as the first-ever University of Central Missouri assistant dean of aviation and executive director of the Max B. Swisher Skyhaven Airport after a 24-year career in the Air Force.
