Smithton Girl Scouts attend women engineers event

Smithton Girl Scout Troop 30752 Juniors and Cadettes attended the Society of Women Engineers event on Feb. 9 at the University of Missouri-Columbia. They made silly putty in biological engineering, built a roller coaster in mechanical engineering and a wind mill in civil engineering, and wrote a program on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in computer engineering.

Cadettes who attended were Alexus Rissler, Cheyenne Johnson, Shelbi Miller, Jada Crum and Jewlie Parks,
