Students and educators from Northwest High School attended Sonia Kovalevsky High School Mathematics Day at the University of Central Missouri on Nov. 6. Students and instructors attended the day of workshops designed to raise awareness of and interest in careers in mathematics.
Students and teachers also participated in a problem solving competition. Jessi Zimmerman and Tori Shireman won first place.
