Members of the La Monte Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Chapter traveled to Lee’s Summit on March 7 for the Team Spirit Conference sponsored by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The conference provides youth and adult advisers with the information, skills, and support necessary to develop a plan of action that addresses underage drinking, drinking and driving, driver inattention and promoting safety belt usage. The mission is carried out through events and activities implemented by teams within their schools and communities.
