2 local students land ProEnergy scholarships

ProEnergy Services has awarded $500 college scholarships to Smithton High School’s Cameron Westermier and Ethan Wilken of Smith-Cotton High School.

Cameron, the son of John and Sheila Westermier, plans to attend Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla this fall, where he will study mechanical engineering. Ethan, the son of Allen and Courtney Wilken, will attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he plans to study mechanical engineering.
