State Fair Community College Spirit Squad Head Coach Dana Page has announced the names of the student athletes selected for the 14-member 2013-2014 SFCC Spirit Squad.

Returning members are Kayla Snapp and Elisha Miller, of Sedalia; Johnathon McAninch and Pam Burgard, of Holden; and Caitlin Mayden, of Carrollton.

The nine newcomers are Emily Blackburn, of La Monte; Emily Callahan, of Cole Camp; Kayla Bloss, of Holden; Desiree Carroll, of Clinton; Kaylee Shepard, of Sedalia; Breeanna Crowley, of Knob Noster; Shaelyn Smith, of Camdenton; Kyndra McCampbell, of Windsor; and Anna Witt, of Appleton City.

Page is excited about the potential of the group.

“The newcomers bring many years of cheer and dance experience to an already talented squad,” said Page. “The five sophomores are great student athletes, both in the classroom and on the court. This summer we will attend a collegiate cheer camp at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville to learn new material and work on all aspects of stunting.”

Jamie Kuse is the assistant coach.
