Talking Tigers place second at speech meet
The Smith-Cotton Talking Tigers recently traveled to St. Pius to compete in the West Central Conference Tournament.
Riley Garner placed second place in prose; Tony Savage, fifth in radio speaking; Kylie Bales, sixth in poetry; Keelly Jones, first in poetry and second in extemporaneous speaking; Tristin Baro, first in storytelling and second in dramatic interpretation; Alec Wilken and Ethan Yazel, third in duet acting; and Amanda Hodges placed first in original oratory.
Smith-Cotton took second place overall with 10 competitors. Warrensburg took first place with 27 competitors.
