Smith-Cotton Thespian Troupe 4261 recently attended the Missouri State Thespian Conference. The students participated in a number of workshops presented by professional artists who have worked in movies and theater and seen shows toured in from schools across the state.
Last year, senior Tristin Baro was elected to the state board and completed his term helping run the conference. Seniors Riley Garner and Michael Holgate competed in Improv Olympics for the first time and placed third overall. Riley was also a finalist for the State Theatre Education Scholarship and competed in individual events in the category of solo musical.
