Otterville students place in Cooper County math contest

The Cooper County Activities Association High School Math Contest was held on Jan. 31 in Otterville. One hundred fifty-one students from the conference schools of Bunceton, Higbee, Jamestown, Malta Bend, Otterville, Pilot Grove and Prairie Home competed. Pilot Grove was the top ranked school with Prairie Home placing second.

Students placing from Otterville were Haley Homan, seventh in Algebra II; Daniel Bezlisyuk, 10th in Algebra II;  Tonya Sidlinskaya, fourth in geometry; and Paul Glasgow, first in Algebra I. Other competitors were Garret Lynn, Austin Fredrick and Stepan Sidlinskiy.
