The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from the Pettis County Jail shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday.Jail staff discovered 29-year-old Brandon McGee missing from the jail around 10 p.m. According to Sheriff Kevin Bond, McGee escaped through an opening in the shower stall and is believed to have fled southbound on foot, wearing black gym shorts and a white T-shirt.McGee is described as a slender white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown eyes, sandy brown hair, and a goatee.
