Kyle and Allison Rupe feed many families in their community. The Rupes are owners and operators of a 15-acre farm near Otterville. They grow and sell produce, poultry and eggs at the Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market (SAFM). A large cooler holds dozens of extra-large grade eggs and whole chickens. The operation looks like the effortless work of veteran famers, neither of which would be correct assumptions.
