Among the performers taking part in the Missouri State Fair's focus on bluegrass music on Wednesday were the River Berry Players, from left to right, Billy, 14, Railan, 11, and Lulie Aistrope, 17, of Richland. All three were terrific musicians, but it was hard not to take notice of Railan's masterful handling of the upright bass, which stands at least a foot taller than she does.
