Nadia Ostapenko, a fifth-grader at Sedalia Middle School, left, gives Carolyn Sperry, a Daum Museum of Contemporary Art docent, her interpretation of the symbolism in Generals, a mixed-media collage by Lupus Garrett that spans two walls in the Douglas Freed Gallery.
