The Pilot Grove baseball team mustered just one hit Monday night but beat Bunceton 2-1 in a Cooper County Activities Association game in Higbee.


Kendall Kraus had Pilot Grove’s only hit and RBI.


Trenton Young gave his team a chance with seven sharp innings. He allowed one run on two hits with one walk and 15 strikeouts to pick up the win.


Kyler Tucker was charged with the loss.


Pilot Grove (11-3, 7-0 CCAA) scored one run in the first and one in the fourth to break a 1-all tie.
