The Mud Cats-There is Hope Silent Auction and Dinner will be this weekend at New Hope Baptist Church, 664 E. 16th St.

The dinner will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. The auction will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

More than 50 items will be up for bid in the auction including a Hall of Fame plaque signed by former Cardinal Enos Slaughter, a Chiefs team football, Cardinals tickets, a 16-by-20 inch photo of Mohammed Ali knocking out Ken Norton, an autographed bat by Rollie Fingers and baseballs signed by Stan Musial, Don Sutton and Tom Glavine.

Proceeds from the event will help pay for expenses for the Sedalia Mud Cats 13- and 14-year-old traveling baseball team and benefit There Is Hope, a crisis pregnancy home.
