The Smith-Cotton Tigers erupted for 14 second-inning runs Monday and beat the Center Yellow Jackets 19-4 in the first game of a West Central Conference baseball doubleheader.
The Tigers scored in all four innings of a game that ended after 4 1/2 because of the 10-run rule.
Ian Dotson went 2 for 3 with a triple and six RBIs for the Tigers, who improved to 5-6 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Teammates Aaron Dieckman and Chance McMullin added two hits apiece.
Mason McCown was the winning pitcher, throwing the first four innings and striking out four.
