Pilot Grove beat Otterville 65-47 in a battle of teams that entered the game unbeaten in Cooper County Athletic Association play on Tuesday in Otterville.
Pilot Grove outscored Otterville 16-11 in the first quarter and 15-9 in the second to take a 31-20 lead into halftime. After Otterville went on a third-quarter run to briefly take a 33-32 lead, Pilot Grove answered to lead 38-34 after three. Pilot Grove outscored the Eagles 27-13 in the fourth.
