Girls prep basketball: La Monte 72, Ballard 66

Seth Johnson scored a team-high 34 points Friday night, and the La Monte Vikings won the consolation game of the Leeton boys basketball tournament 72-66 over Ballard.

Johnson added five rebounds and three assists. Teammate Trent Ellis had 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots.
