Girls prep basketball: Pilot Grove 63, Kingsville 27

Kerigan Wessing scored 21 points Monday night, and third-seeded Pilot Grove beat Kingsville 63-27 in the first round of the Class 1, District 8 girls basketball tournament in Hughesville.

Melissa Schlotzhauer added 10 points for Pilot Grove, which will face Otterville in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Northwest High School.
