Boys prep basketball: Windsor 69, Smithton 67

Despite 35 points and 14 rebounds from Dane Apsher, the Smithton Tigers came up short in their 69-67 boys basketball home loss to Windsor.

Preston McMullen added 18 points, including three 3-pointers, for Smithton, which fell to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the Kaysinger Conference.

Tyler Brockman was one of four Windsor players to score in double figures. He scored a team-high 20 points.

Aaron Garoutte and Trevor Warlen had 11 points apiece, and Zane Anstine scored 10.

Windsor improved to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in league play.
