Top-seeded Pilot Grove topped No. 8 Kingsville 78-55 on Tuesday at Hughesville in the opening round of the Class 1, District 8 tournament.

Jake Leverton scored 15 points, Kendall Kraus added 13 and Mason Schlotzhauer chipped in 12 for the Tigers.
