Applewood Christianís girls basketball team beat the Wichita Defenders 51-50 in the Oklahoma City regional of the National Christian and Homeschool Basketball Tournament on Thursday.
Applewood Christian led 38-35 entering the fourth quarter and held on to win.
Meredith Crosier scored 20 points, shooting 4 of 7 from 3-point range. She also pulled down six rebounds. Miranda Crosier scored 17 points and had seven assists.
Applewood Christian (18-6) will face the No. 3 team in the nation, the Oklahoma City Storm, at 6 p.m. Friday.
