Sacred Heart won its homecoming game 72-56 over Northwest in boys basketball on Thursday.
The Gremlins jumped out to a 25-7 lead after one quarter and led 43-19 at halftime in the Kaysinger Conference battle.
Malik Hackett scored 24 points for Sacred Heart. Riley Simmons scored 18 and Clint Spangler added 10.
Andrew Underwood led the Mustangs with 23 points. Quincy Wicker had 12 points and five assists. Cortlen Austin had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Sacred Heart (16-3, 6-1) will open the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at 2:30 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the Stover-La Monte game.
Northwest (6-14, 3-6) will open the Kaysinger Conference Tournament against Tipton at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
