The Smith-Cotton Tigers erupted for 14 second-inning runs Monday and beat the Center Yellowjackets 19-4 in the first game of a West Central Conference baseball doubleheader.
The Tigers (5-6, 1-0) scored in all four innings of a game that ended after 4 1/2 innings because of the 10-run rule.
Ian Dotson went 2 for 3 with a triple and six RBIs for the Tigers.
Aaron Dieckman and Chance McMullin added two hits apiece.
Mason McCown was the winning pitcher, throwing the first four innings and striking out four.
