The Sacred Heart Gremlins nearly overcame a six-run deficit Monday night in the first round of the Kaysinger Conference baseball tournament at Lincoln. Lincoln held on for a 7-6 win.
Lincoln scored two runs in the first and four in the third and added an insurance run in the sixth after the Gremlins climbed to within 7-3.
