The Lady Panthers rode a 5-1 record in a singles play to an easy 7-2 Missouri River Valley Conference East win over Carrollton on Thursday afternoon in Knob Noster.

Top-seeded Dana Pindilli defeated Gabrielle Madigan 8-5; No. 3 Aubrey Wallace defeated Brandy Brock 8-2; No. 4 Megan Jungnitsch defeated Jessica Hendrix 8-4; No. 5 Rebekah Walters defeated Alyson Miller 8-3; and Nicole Sapp defeated McKayla Randolph 8-2 in the six spot.

In doubles action, the Lady Panthers (3-10, 3-5) went 2-1 as second-seeded Sophia Crawshaw and Megan Jungnitsch beat Randolph and Hendrix 8-4, followed by an 8-4 win by Walters and Sapp  over Brock and Miller.

Knob Noster’s junior varsity won 7-1, improving its overall record to 7-3-2 and conference mark to 5-2-1.
