Prep girls soccer: Lady Tigers overcome flurries, Father Tolton

Posted: Thursday, March 21, 2013 9:44 pm | Updated: 9:52 pm, Thu Mar 21, 2013.

The Smith-Cotton girls soccer team fought through Father Tolton’s defense as well as 29-degree temperatures and a constant snowfall to win its second game of the season 5-0 on Thursday at Susie Ditzfeld Field.

“I was pretty hard,” said Smith-Cotton senior Megan Lollis. “There was snow clumped to the bottom of my cleats. I couldn’t do anything really. I feel like with the conditions we had we played well in the second half at least.”
