Warsaw outslugged Cole Camp 15-13 in a nonconference baseball game on Monday in Cole Camp.
Warsaw jumped out to a quick lead, scoring three runs in the first, seven in the second, one in the third and three in the fourth to go ahead 14-0. But Cole Camp answered with seven of their own in the bottom of the fourth and scored six more in the fifth to make it 14-13. The Bluebirds could not score in the sixth or seventh after Warsaw added an insurance run.
Brad Jelinek homered, drove in a pair of runs, walked three times and stole a base for Warsaw.
Gunner Williams and Connor Balke each drove in two runs for Cole Camp.
Cole Camp fell to 0-2 on the year.
