Indoor football: Lincoln (Neb.) 38, Mid-Missouri 31, OT

Posted: Sunday, March 17, 2013 11:08 pm

A touchdown with eight seconds left helped the Mid-Missouri Outlaws force overtime, but once there the Lincoln (Neb.) Haymakers pulled out a 38-31 win in the first game in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League on Sunday at the Mathewson Exhibition Center.

The Outlaws started the final drive of regulation at their own 22-yard line with 1:41 left and trailing 31-23. It only got more difficult from there as the first play lost 11 yards when the snap sailed over the head of quarterback Kyle Middleton.
