The Smith-Cotton Junior High eighth-grade boys basketball team rode a second-half surge in posting a 46-34 win over Warrensburg on Thursday night at S-C.
The teams were tied at 14 at the half. S-C built a 29-23 lead after three quarters, getting assists from Baxter Mays on consecutive trips to finish the quarter.
