Oak Grove defeated the Travelers 12-0 in the tournament finale.

“I’m very pleased,” Carey said of his team’s weekend performance. “We’re looking at a bright future. We’ve got four kids from Marshall and three pitchers coming.”

Marshall will compete in the Class 3 state semifinals on Thursday at Springfield, and Collin Nolting, of Class 1 state quarterfinalist Tipton, will join the team this week.
