Smith-Cottons Lauren Azan qualified for her second straight Class 2 state golf tournament Monday in Blue Springs.



She shot an 88 to finish ninth on the par-72 Adams Pointe Golf Course.



Players with the top 10 scores from nonqualifying schools advance to state.



Rock Bridge won the team title with a 346.



Jennifer Tian, of Warrensburg, won the individual championship, shooting a 77.



VOLLEYBALL



Green Ridge 2, Warsaw 0



The Green Ridge Lady Tigers volleyball team took a break from Kaysinger Conference play Monday night and defeated Warsaw 25-12, 25-7 in a road match.



Jordyn Smith paced Green Ridge with five kills. Torey Williams had team highs of seven digs and 11 points.



Ragin Dillon had a team-high seven assists, as Green Ridge improved to 10-6-2.



Helias 2, Cole Camp 0



Undefeated Helias rolled to a 25-10, 25-18 win over Cole Camp on Monday night.



Helias improved to 23-0 but is only ranked No. 4 in Class 4 in this weeks Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.



Cole Camp fell to 4-15-2 after losing the home match.



Quincy Harms paced the Bluebirds with five kills, eight digs and three points.



Shelby Rice added a team-high five assists.



Northwest 2, Crest Ridge 0



Mariah Wiskur posted six kills, three kill-blocks and nine digs Monday night in the Northwest Lady Mustangs 25-18, 25-18 win at Hughesville.



Meredith Norfleet paced Northwest with 12 kills, and Casey Marcum had a club-best 21 assists for the Lady Mustangs, who improved to 11-13.



SOFTBALL



Class 3, District 13 tournament



The Warsaw Wildcats will go for their third straight district championship this week in Clinton.



The Wildcats earned the top seed and received a first-round bye as did No. 2 Boonville.



In the first round, No. 4 Clinton and No. 5 Holden will meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by No. 3 Odessa and No. 6 Marshall at 6:30 p.m.



In the semifinals, Boonville will face the Odessa-Marshall winner at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and Warsaw will meet the Clinton-Holden winner at 6:30 p.m.



The championship game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.



All games will be played at Optimist Park.



Prairie Home 19, Otterville 0



Prairie Home exploded for 13 runs in the sixth inning Monday to finish off the Otterville Eagles in a Cooper County Activities Association softball game in Otterville.



Prairie Home finished with 12 hits, while the Eagles had only three hits and committed six errors.
