The Sedalia American Legion Post 642 Travelers secured their first win in the American Legion Wood Bat Invitational on Friday with a 6-3 victory over the St. Peters Central Spartans at Blue Springs.

The Travelers lost twice Thursday, 2-0 to St. Peters and 4-1 to Omaha, Neb.
