The Versailles girls basketball team shot out to a 21-4 lead after one quarter Saturday in a 67-31 home win over Lincoln.
The Tigers pushed their lead to 35-8 at halftime and 57-20 after three quarters.
Julie Teeple scored a game-high 24 points for Versailles. Raven Woods added 19. Trisha Cooke paced Lincoln with 15 points and eight rebounds. Whitney Dunkin had a team-high five assists for Lincoln.
Pilot Grove 65, Glasgow 56
The Pilot Grove Tigers outscored Glasgow 25-6 in the third quarter Friday night to change the momentum in the fifth-place game of the Slater Wildcat Classic girls basketball tournament.
Glasgow jumped out to a 17-10 lead after one quarter and held a 34-18 halftime advantage. By the start of the fourth quarter, Pilot Grove led 43-40.
Clair Lorenz paced Pilot Grove with 15 points, and Whitney Wessing had 14.
Mary Betteridge and Kayla Thomas had double-doubles for Pilot Grove. Betteridge had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Thomas had 13 points and team-high 14 rebounds.
Rachel Gonzalez led Glasgow with 10 points.
KC East 43, Show-Me Christian 41
Abraham Vah’s game-high 26 points weren’t enough for the Show-Me Christian boys basketball team.
Derric Griffin scored 13 points to lead KC East to a victory Saturday in Belton.
The score was tied at 10 after one quarter. KC East led 29-26 at halftime and 33-27 after three quarters.
Show-Me Christian will host Applewood Christian on Tuesday night.
Cole Camp 61, Stover 40
Kelsey Weymuth scored a game-high 25 points Friday night to lead Cole Camp to a Kaysinger Conference victory at Stover.
Travis Goosen added 15 points for the Cole Camp boys basketball team.
Tyler Wilson paced Stover with 10 points.
Cole Camp led 15-9 after one quarter, 27-16 at halftime and 44-25 after three quarters.
Pilot Grove 63, Carrollton 50
Pilot Grove salvaged a win Friday night in the seventh-place game of the Slater Wildcat Classic boys basketball tournament.
Trey Schibi scored a game-high 22 points. Nick Haller had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Williams scored 13 for Pilot Grove.
Pilot Grove (14-3) led 17-9 after one quarter, 30-21 after two and 43-37 after three.
Concordia 69, KC Lutheran 57
Dylan Clayton, John Miller and Joey White combined for nine 3-pointers Friday night, as the Concordia boys basketball team won in Kansas City.
White finished with a game-high 21 points that included three 3-pointers. John Miller had 20 points with four 3-pointers. Dylan Clayton scored 11 points including two 3-pointers.
Concordia led 16-14 after one quarter, 32-25 at halftime and 51-37 after three quarters.
