The Smith-Cotton boys track and field team placed third in the Guy Rush Memorial on Thursday at California (Mo.) High School.


The boys accumulated 120.5 points. Eldon with 152.


S-Cís girls were fifth with 62 points. Blair Oaks won with 134.


Smith-Cottonís boys won one event: the 4x200-meter relay. Jacob Lamb, Luke Rosendale, Austin LaBoube and David Desmond finished in 1 minute, 32.37 seconds.


For the girls, Marionna Ward won the 100 hurdles in 17.14 seconds.
