Knob Noster was knocked out of the district tennis tournament, falling 5-0 to Warrensburg on Wednesday at Warrensburg.


Knob Noster No. 6 singles player Garnett Williams dropped the first set to Jackson Scurlock 6-4 before rallying to take the second set 7-5.


At No. 2 singles Cole Lankford pushed Nate Fernquist before falling 6-4, 7-5.


Knob Noster finished its dual season 8-4.


The Panthers will play in the district individual singles and doubles tournament Saturday at the Grover Park Courts in Warrensburg.
