Washburn women advance to semis

Washburn used its depth and superior inside play Friday to beat Angelo State 69-44 in the first round of the NCAA Division II South Central Regional.

Washburn’s reserves outscored their counterparts 17-0, and the Lady Blues held a 28-18 edge over Angelo State in the paint.
