Center’s zone defense in the third quarter keyed the Lady Jackets’ rally past Smith-Cotton on Friday in Kansas City. Center won 37-34 in the West Central Conference battle.
The Lady Tigers (12-10, 4-3) led 11-1 after one quarter and 23-12 after two. Center outscored Smith-Cotton 15-4 in the third quarter to tie the game at 27.
