Maddy Smith was fouled shooting a 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime and made the first two free throws as the Stover Lady Bulldogs beat Green Ridge 49-48 in a Kaysinger Conference game on Friday at Green Ridge.
Stover led 22-17 at halftime before Green Ridge went on an 18-9 run in the third quarter to take the lead 35-31. Stover then outscored the Tigers in the fourth quarter 12-8 to tie the game 43-43 at the end of regulation.
