Windsor will get its second shot at a sectional in as many years and its second shot at Skyline this season when the Greyhounds and Lady Tigers meet at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton.

Windsor comes into the game 23-4, having beaten La Monte, Santa Fe and Crest Ridge in Class 2, District 14 play.

Skyline, a Class 3 team last year and a district champion in Class 3 in 2011, went 23-6 this season while playing plenty of larger schools. The Lady Tigers’ six losses came against Class 4 Webb City, Class 5 Nixa (twice), Class 3 Ash Grove, Class 3 Fair Grove and Class 5 Branson.

Skyline also played several larger schools and won, beating Fair Grove 53-41 in a rematch on Jan. 31 and beating Class 4 (and soon-to-be West Central Conference member) Nevada in overtime on Jan. 14.

Windsor and Skyline met this season, with Skyline winning 62-36 at the W-K Shootout on Dec. 15 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.

Windsor’s only losses since then have been to Drexel — a team that went 17-8 and will face Bunceton in a Class 1 sectional at Harrisonville on Wednesday — and Sacred Heart in the Kaysinger Conference final.
